In July, for two weeks, we hosted two 16 year old students from China. During this time, they attended class during the day (using Tri-met to commute to and from downtown Portland each day), and then we took around and show them sites in the evenings and on weekends. For their time here in the USA, they took on American-type names, as their own names in Chinese are hard to pronounce.
